Linktown Nurture Nursery are a brand new, high quality, outdoor classroom and forest nursery based in Southfield Industrial Estate, Glenrothes

We are seeking an Apprentice Early Years Officer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with a passion for early learning in the outdoors. Responsibilities include providing a friendly, caring, safe, and stimulating environment for all learners. Planned activities are taken from our learners interests are essential throughout each day.We are looking for someone who can bring their own skills to create their own leadership role. As we are a new setting we want staff to further develop our space through our learners eyes! Ideally the suitable candidate will have a passion for the outdoors and be willing to undertake various training.

Applicants will be expected to gain an appropriate qualification e.g. HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People), as well as have the eligibility to register with the SSSC. We offer various training and development opportunities. If successful, applicants will be required to complete a 2 day Outdoor First Aid Course. We are open in all seasons so this position is probably more suited to someone who works well in the winter.

Permanent post 40 hours per week between 8.15am & 5.30pm

Monday to FridayTerm time (with additional holiday work available)

Pay review every April and after completing each additional training
