So, what's the role about?
We are looking for our 2025 intake of Engineering Apprentices to shape the future of our Engineering function at Marshalls.
This comprehensive 4-year apprenticeship offers a structured learning experience, delivered in partnership with HETA, and complemented by hands-on mentoring on our manufacturing site. You'll follow a personalised training plan, supported by both your dedicated mentor and your manager, gaining valuable practical experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll get to work alongside our skilled engineering team with the ultimate goal of becoming a highly skilled Electrical Control & Automation Engineer.
Your first year will involve attending college five days per week at HETA Scunthorpe. From year two onwards, you will transition to full-time, on-site work at our Maltby & Ranskill facilities. Therefore, you must be able to reliably commute between HETA Scunthorpe and our Maltby & Ranskill sites during your first year. Please note that after you have completed your apprenticeship, national travel will be a requirement of this role.

Minimum of 16 years of age
Minimum education of 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Mathematics, English and Science
You'll need a strong work ethic and a keen interest in the world of engineering and manufacturing
The ability to work in a team as well as on your own
It would be beneficial if you had your own method of transport due to the location of the site
In return, we will provide you with full support along your 4-year Apprentice journey, progressing you towards becoming a fully qualified Maintenance
Engineer with a permanent job following a successful apprenticeship.
