Duties

Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision Support the wiring, fitting, and testing of electrical components in various settings Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment Read technical diagrams and instructions to aid in electrical tasks Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

Basic understanding of electrical systems or related experience is desirable but not essential Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work Strong interest in developing a career within the electrical trade Good organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team Must be physically fit, with the ability to perform manual tasks and work at heights if required Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training programmes Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory
