Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Apprentice Electrician at Voltedge Systems located in Manchester. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Day-to-day tasks include working under licensed electricians to learn and perform electrical work, troubleshooting issues, and following safety protocols. The role also involves supporting electrical engineering projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
In addition to electrical duties, the successful candidate should be willing to support general building and construction tasks on a variety of residential and commercial projects. There is a lot to learn, and the role provides the opportunity to develop a wide range of practical skills across multiple trades, potentially becoming more skilled in different disciplines over time.

Qualifications
Completion of secondary school (GCSEs or equivalent)
Must be currently enrolled in an electrician apprenticeship programme
A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred
Willingness to assist with general building and construction tasks
Motivation to develop new skills across a variety of trades
Basic knowledge in electricity and electrical work
Familiarity with electrical engineering principles
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Commitment to safety practices and regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Ability to work on-site in Manchester and across Greater Manchester
