Duties

Assist qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various settings. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Learn to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings. Support the organisation and preparation of materials required for electrical projects. Conduct basic inspections of electrical components to identify potential issues. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work. Prior experience or familiarity with electrical systems is desirable but not essential; a keen interest in the electrical trade is required. Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn, adapt, and undertake practical training on-site. Must be aged 18 or over and eligible to undertake an apprenticeship programme.
