Description



Carry out installation and maintenance duties whilst being supervised in line with training

provided via training provider and on site training.



Systems covered by the company include fire alarm and detection systems, Intruder detection

systems, access control, CCTV, emergency lights and portable fire extinguishers.



Your daily routine will be provided in advance and you will be supervised by one of our installation or service engineers depending on the activities for the day.



Clients sites will be visited and works completed on site. Some days this will be relatively nearby, other days travel will form a large part of the day.



We work on fire alarm systems and intruder detection systems mainly with other scopes being added as required.



Our client base makes for some rewarding experiences and our engineering team are always on hand to assist where required.



Entry requirements

You will need your Maths & English GCSE's 4/C or above, if you do not have this you will need to do this along side the apprenticeship. Applicants are required to hold a driving license You will be required to complete a 5 year security screening process including credit and police checks You must be willing to adapt to varying shift changes, such as early starts, night work and weekend work where required and agreed. 1 x Central/South/South East London 1 x Windsor area

Training to be provided



Installation techniques in fire alarm systems and intruder detection systems. Our client base provides a diverse learning experience.



Regular communications will take place between the learner, Skills for security and Impulse Engineering Limited to ensure all training opportunities required and on the job training is being completed within required timescales. You will attend the Watford Training centre every 8 weeks for Fire emergency and security systems technician (Level 3).



Things to consider
