As an Apprentice at Training & Beauty by Hampson, you will support the business across multiple areas including reception, customer service, sales, and digital marketing. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in client engagement, administrative support, online marketing, and sales in a professional beauty and training environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Customer Service
Welcome clients and students to the salon and academy, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly; handle bookings, cancellations, and appointment scheduling.
Check clients and students in for appointments or courses, ensuring all forms and payments are completed correctly.
Maintain a tidy and professional reception and waiting area.
Provide general administrative support to staff as required.
Sales & Upselling
Promote salon services, training courses, and retail products to clients and students.
Handle sales transactions at the point of sale, both in-person and online where applicable.
Track product and course enquiries and follow up to increase bookings and sales.
Assist with merchandising and in-salon displays to enhance product visibility.
Support marketing campaigns with sales-focused initiatives, such as promotions or bundle offers.
Digital Marketing & Content Support
Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), including captions, graphics, and videos.
Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and other digital communications to drive course enrolments, retail sales, and client engagement.
Help maintain and update the website with accurate product, service, and course information.
Track and report on digital marketing performance and engagement metrics.
Customer/Student Communication & Support
Respond to enquiries regarding services, courses, and products in a timely and professional manner.
Follow up with clients and students post-appointment or course to maintain engagement and encourage repeat business.
Assist with aftercare communication and support, including handling complaints or issues and escalating where necessary.
General Administration & Support
Support day-to-day office operations including filing, data entry, stock checks, and record-keeping.
Assist with student enrolment and course administration, liaising with trainers as needed.
Attend training sessions provided by the business to meet apprenticeship standards and gain professional development.
