Take a look below. As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised qualification of Horticulture Operative Level 2. Your Apprenticeship typically takes 18 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support. From day one you\xe2\x80\x99ll be given real responsibility, gaining invaluable experience and exposure working alongside our industry experts and across your team. As an Apprentice, you will working alongside the team to deliver the following:
  • Grass cutting
  • Hedge cutting
  • Strimming
  • General Horticulture
  • Vegetation removal
Within Amey, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be partnered with a \xe2\x80\x9cbuddy\xe2\x80\x9d to assist you as you settle into your new role within our Grounds Maintenance team, helping answer all those initial questions you may have. Once you\xe2\x80\x99ve settled in, you will be allocated a mentor who will support you throughout your Apprenticeship, helping you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed. When you complete your Apprenticeship, your development does not stop! You\xe2\x80\x99ll be given lots of opportunities to progress further within Amey as well as being encouraged to gain additional qualifications as you continue your career.

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Full driving license,
  • Over 18 years old,
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions,
  • Available to commence employment with Amey in November/December 2023,
  • Commitment and drive to complete your Apprenticeship.
