Apprentice Hgv Mechanic
Job Description
Carry out weekly checks on fleet and trailers
Assist Mechanics in the day to day daily checks of fleet and trailers
Shadow and learn from Mechanics to align with college objectives
Assist the workshop in ensuring health and safety standards are highly maintained
Assist the workshop in ensuring stock control is completed on required supplies
Assist the workshop in ensuring the garage is kept clean and well maintained.
Reporting any vehicle damage or issues in real time.
Criteria:
Acquired position in local college for Heavy Goods (must have this secured already)
Have a strong enthusiasm for the logistics industry
Have a passion for the role and a desire to learn
Role:
Monday to Friday 8.30am-6.00pm (with the exception of day in college)
One Wednesday evening on in four 6pm-10pm
On call as per rota
Saturday as per rota 8.30am-1.30pm
