Buckhurst Plant Hire Limited was established in 1993 by the Walsh Family. From beginning in a small yard with only a handful of machines the company has grown in size to now operating from four depots with over 1000 pieces of machinery and plant.

We are looking for an apprentice to join our Hire Desk Team in our Leeds Depot, we are a friendly company that values your contribution and can offer you excellent training opportunities?

As an apprentice on our customer service apprentice program, you will learn all of the skills required to become a Hire Desk Controller. You will work with a training company for a duration of 15-18 months. As well as regular visits from your assessor you'll also attend additional knowledge classes (online) for one day a week (for 10 weeks) to support you through your Apprenticeship.

On a day-to-day basis, you'll work on the hire desk in our Leeds Depot learning how to build good working relationships. You will also gain in-depth product knowledge which you will use to translate to your customers' requirements into the rental products and services that meet their needs, whilst also maximizing sales opportunities.

You will also learn how to manage the hire contract administration and ensure that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
