We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. The Apprentice Mechanic will work under the supervision of experienced technicians, assisting with various maintenance tasks while learning essential industry skills.

Duties

Assist with the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery Use hand tools and power tools to perform routine maintenance and repairs Support senior mechanics in dismantling and assembling components Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify faults or issues within machinery Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts or equipment safely Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times during tasks undertaken Document work performed accurately and report any issues or concerns to supervisors

Requirements

A keen interest in mechanics, engineering, or technical trades Basic mechanical knowledge or understanding of machinery (nice-to-have) Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (training provided if necessary) Willingness to undertake heavy lifting and physical tasks as part of daily duties Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team Prior experience is not required but is considered an advantage A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential
