Our Enterprise Network Team designs, runs, and protects the connectivity - across offices, branches, data centres, and cloud. We provide secure, resilient, and high performance connectivity across the organisation, ensuring colleagues and services remain available and protected.
L&Q are offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring IT professional to join our organisation as a Network Engineer Apprentice. You will complete the Level 4 Network Engineer Apprenticeship alongside combining hands-on experience with structured training. You will work alongside experienced Network and Security Engineers to learn how enterprise networks are built, secured, and maintained. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with a strong interest in IT and networking who is ready to develop technical and professional skills in a supportive environment

Your impact in the role:

• Contribute to business performance and customer service delivery whilst operating in line with L&Q's values.
• Develop and maintain networking infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, reliability and integrity in line with Service Level Agreements set by management
• Work collaboratively with product teams, business development and support teams within IT, to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner
• Keep up to date with developments in new technologies and where it can be of use to L&Q, working with partners to commission Proofs of Concepts to demonstrate business value.

Apprenticeship details:
You will complete a Level 4 Network Engineer apprenticeship with QA:
The entry requirements for the apprenticeship are:

• An A Level in ICT, or
• An IB at Level 3 in ICT, or
• A BTEC Diploma in IT

You will also need to have obtained GCSE Grade 4-9 (A-C) in English and Maths
