A fantastic opportunity has become available at Oratory Montessori Day Nursery. They are looking for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their 'Good' setting, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children's play, learning & development.

Duties Will include

Caring for children Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs Supporting children's play and learning Supporting children's development Adhere to all safeguarding practices Preparing snacks and help with their feeding and cleaning

To become an apprentice, you must:

be 16 or over not already be in full-time education

As an apprentice you'll:

complete a Level 2 or 3 Early Years apprenticeship standard, level is dependant on qualifications and experience have regular one to one sessions with a dedicated trainer either remotely or through visits to your workplace learn and train for a specific job get paid and receive holiday leave get hands-on experience in a real job study for at least 20% of your working hours complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship be on a career path with lots of future potential be entitled to a TOTUM membership

Good Communication Ability to use computer Adaptable The ability to work as part of a team Must be able to follow instructions from the room leader

Qualifications required

Non Specific - experience in caring for children would be preferred.

Wages may be higher than advertised and will be discussed on an individual basis at interview. If L2 has already been completed or you have had previous experience with children, please still apply as L3 Early Years Educator is also available.
