Job Description
Overview
Learn to become a Packaging Technician who can set up, maintain & run various cardboard & foam converting machines. Also learn the process of design & manufacturing packaging encompassing both customer & supplier focused tasks.
This is a 4 year apprenticeship with day release to Chippenham college to study Engineering and manufacturing support technician (level 3) , so applicants must be prepared to travel to college.

Responsibilities
Set up & run packaging machines Maintain & repair packaging machines Learn production control Learn some elements of packaging design & CAD Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Learn warehousing tasks including use of forklift
Experience
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Minimum of 2x GCSE in English & Maths
