Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable

Apprentice Painter

to join our team. As an apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced painters to learn the trade, assist with preparation and application of paint, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in painting and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing surfaces for painting (e.g., sanding, scraping, washing, taping). Mix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Clean tools, equipment, and work areas at the end of each shift. Transport materials and supplies to and from job sites. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Take direction from senior painters and supervisors and ask questions to improve skills. Maintain punctuality and a positive attitude on the job.

Requirements:

Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Good physical condition and stamina Ability to work in various weather conditions (for exterior projects). Reliable transportation to job sites. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills (not required):

Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or painting. Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in painting.

Pay: From 7.55 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
