We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Counter Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting with various tasks related to patient care. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Full training given in house. Two qualifications can be achieved within the 12 months of training. Possible option to further development and training after the first year.
Duties
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information about medications and health products, ensuring customers understand their options.
Support the pharmacy team with medication administration tasks as required.
Maintain an organised and clean counter area, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed appropriately.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Knowledge of patient care practices is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
