Apprentice Pipe Fitter / Welder

Location:

Offices based in Sidcup, London
(Can you commute to our Sidcup head office within 30 minutes daily?)

IDWe Ltd's well-established Mechanical Services department is looking for a permanent, full-time Apprentice Pipe Fitter / Welder to join our experienced team. You'll be involved in a wide range of commercial and industrial projects across London and the South East, including plantroom installations, pipe modifications, and equipment replacement.

As an Apprentice Pipe Fitter / Welder, you'll take on a hands-on role, learning to work with screwed steel, copper, stainless steel press, and plastic pipework. You'll also develop skills to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair a variety of piping systems.

You'll train alongside our highly skilled pipe fitters, welders, and engineers - many with over 35 years of experience - gaining practical, on-the-job knowledge while helping deliver high-quality mechanical installations in buildings such as hospitals, offices, leisure centres, and schools.

One day per week, you'll attend college on day release to study for your Level 2 Pipe Fitting / Welding or Building Services Engineering Apprenticeship, working towards becoming a fully qualified Pipe Fitter / Welder.

Qualifications
