Apprentice Plant Fitter
.

As an Apprentice Plant Fitter, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians to maintain, repair, and service a wide range of construction plant, machinery, and equipment used on construction sites.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
During your apprenticeship, you will assist qualified fitters and senior engineers with:
Inspection, maintenance, and repair of construction plant and equipment
Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs
Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with company and site procedures
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
Assisting with parts ordering and inventory control
Supporting site operations by ensuring equipment is in safe working condition

for mentoring and ongoing support throughout their apprenticeship, helping them progress into long-term industry careers or higher-level apprenticeships..
Apprenticeship Details
This apprenticeship will be offered at
Level 2 or Level 3
, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience.
Training will be delivered through block release at an approved training centre outside the local area.
Apprentices will be away from home during these training periods, which may take place monthly or quarterly.
All travel, accommodation, and meals are provided during block release training.
