The Opportunity





We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in quality engineering. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.



As part of this role, the successful candidate will also undertake a Level 4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship, providing structured learning and nationally recognised qualifications to support their development into a competent Quality Engineering professional.


Key Accountabilities:




Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures. Conduct inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards. Document and report any quality issues or defects found during inspections. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and test results. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency. Assist in the preparation of quality reports and documentation for audits

Essential Requirements




Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Highly motivated and eager to learn. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Desirable Attributes:




Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies. Previous work experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment is a plus. Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering or related discipline
