We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who have a keen interest in sport and developing children's physical ability. We are looking for someone that can plan and deliver fun, safe, and engaging physical activities to children. During term time you will be delivering sports sessions in schools and pre-schools, whilst during the school holidays you will be involved in our exciting holiday camps where you will be leading a themed activity/camp.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company processes and procedures whilst the children are in your care, ensuring the children have a fun, engaging and safe time
- To plan and prepare inclusive, dynamic and exciting sport sessions.
- To plan activities and deliver fun, safe and engaging football sessions for our Football Development programme
- To aid senior staff with administrative duties
- To organise & lead holiday club provisions
- To deliver fun and exciting pre-school sessions to children age between 2-4
- To maintain high standards of provisions offered by IG Sports Ltd
- Develop and inspire young people to live and lead active lifestyles
Contract:
The apprenticeship is a 18-month fixed-term position with the opportunity to progress onto a full-time position with IG Sports Coaching depending on performance and demand for our services. You will complete the Level 4 Sports Coach apprenticeship standard made up of 18-months study.
Desirable qualifications;
1. NGB Level 1 and or 2 coaching certificate,
2. Child protection
3. Paediatric 1st Aid certificate
4. Transport and a full driving licence
