WR Sports Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to start ASAP.

Kickstart your career in sport with us as an Apprentice Sports Coach! This is a unique opportunity to inspire the next generation, delivering fun and energetic sessions to primary-aged children while becoming a role model they'll look up to. As part of your journey, you'll develop your own skills with hands-on coaching experience, professional training, and mentoring to help you grow both on and off the pitch. Beyond the sports sessions, you'll play a key role in bringing our action-packed holiday camps to life, gaining valuable experience in organisation and teamwork through some behind-the-scenes admin. 30hrs p/wk contract with 6hrs of your time for study/off the job training.



The candidate will be given excellent exposure and knowledge of the sports, leisure & education industry as well as gain qualifications at Level 2,3 or 4. Qualifications could include but not limited to:

Level 2 Community Activator, Level 3 Community Sport, Level 4 Sports Coach, Level 1 in Coaching Sport and other coaching and industry-based qualifications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities



To support the operations of the business in planning, promoting, bookings and finance-related tasks. (Office-Based).

To work with the coaching team to assist in the development of youths across Oxfordshire.

To consistently deliver professionalism to the stakeholders of the business.

To be flexible with work times.

To show exceptional customer service via face-to-face, emails and phone calls.

To work alongside WR Sports Operations Manager with some behind the scenes admin work, helping to bring visions to life and help with the day-to-day tasks that keep sessions running.

Experience:


Working in any customer facing role (Desirable)

Working in an office environment - Able to write emails, use Office software and be computer literate.

Having a passion for sport and taking part or delivering sports sessions.

Coaching sports at any level

Required licence or certification:



GCSEs (English, Maths, Science) Grade 4 or above (Desirable)

Desirable licence or certification:

Up to date Child Safeguarding (can apply for you)

Clear DBS from the last 3 years (can apply for you)

Driving license and access to a car

First Aid Certificate (can apply for you)

Pay: 11,778.00-13,500.00 per year

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
