Andrew Ingredients is a leading food and bakery ingredients supplier based in Lisburn and supplying throughout Ireland & the UK. With 80 years' experience in the field of baking, the company continues to grow and expand its product portfolio. We are a friendly and supportive team where everyone is treated with respect.

Due to ongoing growth in the business, we are now recruiting an Apprentice Store Person to join our busy warehouse team.

Role and Responsibilities:

Goods in:

Unloading of containers by hand and palletising of goods Unloading delivery vehicles using Counterbalance FLT Using Warehouse Management System (WMS) scanning to receive goods against Purchase Orders Put away of goods into pickfaces / bulk locations
Order picking:

Using Scanning WMS to pick orders Picking both loose items and full pallets based on FIFO basis Replenishment of pickfaces
Outbound / Dispatch:

Wrapping and labelling pallets for dispatch Loading of own and courier vehicles with customer orders Occasional customer deliveries in company vehicle
General:

Adherence to BRCGS procedures and food quality standards Clean-as-you-go and general hygiene / cleaning

Essential skills and qualities:

No experience is required as full training will be provided. The successful applicant will be required to complete NVQ Levels 2 & 3 while serving their apprenticeship, and this will be provided by the company. Customer focused, positive team-player, with a hard-working attitude Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties Available to work Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 20,800.00-25,397.00 per year
