Are you ambitious for all our young people and their life chances? Would you like to benefit from superb professional development opportunities and to work in one of the best equipped schools in the county? If so, then we would be very interested in hearing from you and supporting you in a relocation to the Lake District.
The Role
We are looking to appoint a new apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and passionate SEND team at Richard Rose Central Academy. You will support, assist and supervise identified pupil/s with SEND under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo. As part of the role, you will work towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. This will include remote CPD sessions (a minimum of 6.5 hours per week during normal working hours) and two in person days at either a central office location or hosting school within United Learning.
The role will be 37.5 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 working weeks).
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a successful, and rapidly developing academy. We are driven by a forward-thinking philosophy and a vibrant, positive culture. In a friendly and welcoming school, with supportive colleagues, you'll be able to make a real impact on our academy, and on the lives of children across the country.
Over the past two years, the school has undergone a rapid transformation with excellent standards and outcomes becoming just part of who we are as a school. This makes it a very exciting time to join our school and be part of a great community.
We are an inclusive employer and are happy to consider flexible working practices, part time or a job share if they will benefit you and the students of the Academy.
