If you are interested in making a difference, why not join our team as an Engineering Apprentice? You will complete a recognised national apprenticeship programme over 3 or 4 years while working in the tool room. The first year of this programme will be a general engineering apprenticeship course where you will have an introduction to engineering and learn to work to agreed safe operating procedures. You will be in college full-time for two days per week during your first year with some limited time onsite. After the first year of the Apprenticeship you will specialise in Tooling. While you will continue to study at college, you will spend more time working onsite to develop your new skill-set and to support your teams.

What does the role involve?



o Assisting in the manufacture, assembly, maintenance, and repair of tooling used in our production lines, including press tools, jigs, fixtures, and moulds o Learning to safely operate a range of manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and surface finishers o Supporting the toolmakers in day-to-day tasks in the tool room including tool prep, component measurement, and maintenance logs
