Are you looking to work in a family run, friendly nursery and inspire young children? Would you like a job where two days are never the same, one day you may be zooming to space in a rocket searching for aliens another you will be stomping through a jungle?
We are looking for an apprentice who isn't shy to put on their silly shoes and have fun, someone who can make some really silly voices up at story time, someone who can bring wellies and splash in puddles, someone who will happily sing songs with the children, someone who can have an imaginary tea party with a unicorn and someone who can go on bug hunts in the rain!
We need someone who can help us develop young minds, introduce new experiences, and help them be ready for all the experiences they will have in life. And you will probably find while you are teaching our young children that you are continually learning too!
What you may be doing (with support where necessary)...
Create and offer new and enriching activities to promote child development
Assist with the daily care of children in the nursery
Complete observations and contribute to planning and assessment
Listen to, encourage, stimulate and enable children
Ensure the nursery is a safe environment
You will work to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework
Learn the relevant skills of a childcare professional
Working dynamically within a team to provide the best childcare to children as possible
Ensure the safeguarding of children at all times, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
Build positive working relationships with children, parents/guardians and colleagues
We can offer you...
A fun filled day, we love the children to have as much fun and possible and to learn in stimulating and exciting environments
oA Family-Run Environment: We are not just a nursery - we are a close-knit team that values every staff member
A quality and professional environment. We are rated Outstanding with Ofsted
A focussed team to work with and share ideas with
A supportive management team who listen and value the hard work staff do.
An environment with everything you need to inspire, educate and care for our children. It is fully resourced; we have mainly community playthings furniture, and our children respect their toys.
Professional development opportunities for you to train and achieve your goals.
