Apprentice / Junior Butcher - Full or Part Time | Carmarthen (Cambrian Way)

We're expanding! As we prepare to open our brand-new

Deli and Butchery on Cambrian Way

, we're looking for a motivated and reliable

Apprentice or Junior Butcher

to join our skilled team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a traditional craft in a modern setting -- working with top-quality Welsh produce, including our PGI-protected Carmarthen Ham.

both full-time and part-time positions available

full-time apprenticeship

for someone keen to build a career in butchery. Flexible

part-time or Saturday roles

for school or college students looking to gain experience and learn the trade.

What you'll do

Learn all aspects of butchery from experienced professionals. Assist with meat preparation, sausages, curing and slicing. Help with cleaning, stock control and hygiene routines. Serve customers and gain hands-on retail experience.

What we're looking for

Enthusiastic and eager to learn. Hard-working, reliable and good with your hands. Friendly and confident with customers. Interested in local food, craftsmanship and Welsh produce. Ideal for school leavers, college students, or anyone ready to start a full-time trade.

Cambrian Way, Carmarthen

Hours:

Full-time apprenticeship OR part-time hours (after school/college and Saturdays)

Pay:

Meets National Apprenticeship rate or hourly rate based on experience

No previous experience required -- just a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 15,750.00-25,400.00 per year

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
