Apprenticeship Programme Manager
Purpose of the Role:
To lead on employer engagement and apprenticeship recruitment for a small but growing training provider. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with employers, and securing high-quality apprenticeship placements across multiple sectors, including digital and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively source and engage with local and regional employers to promote apprenticeships.
Generate new leads and convert them into long-term employer partnerships.
Explain apprenticeship funding, government incentives (such as the Apprenticeship Levy), and compliance requirements to employers.
Work with the internal team to ensure a smooth learner placement and onboarding process.
Maintain accurate employer contact records and pipeline data using our CRM system.
Attend networking events, careers fairs, and industry expos to raise brand awareness and generate leads.
Provide ongoing account management and post-placement support to employers.
Meet and exceed agreed monthly and quarterly performance targets.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Proven experience in employer engagement, business development, or recruitment.
Knowledge of the UK apprenticeship system and related funding models.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Competence in using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
Experience working within a training provider or FE college.
Understanding of priority sectors such as
Digital/IT
Full UK driving license (desirable for occasional site visits).

Salary of 30,000 - 35,000 depending on experience
