Job Description

Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor (starting approximately in June 2026 College day release will start from September) to join a bustling and welcoming commercial project team. You will work on one of our building projects based in the Greater London or Cambridge area. This apprenticeship offers valuable hands-on experience, allowing you to work alongside experienced professionals while contributing to a significant project



Education Criteria:

One of the educational levels required listed below :



A Level BBB or

BTEC National Diploma DDM or

Access to HE qualifications with 24 Distinctions 21 Merits or

Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 128 UCAS points

Applicants must hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)



Essential Skill set :



Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Willingness to work outside normal working hours to complete university work/further learning

Interest in the Construction industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions

Attention to detail



Job Purpose and Scope

Observe subcontractor tender reviews and assist with M&E design costs

Attend meetings with team and MEP Contractors for project planning and coordination

Assist in reviewing Contractors' designs, programmes, and progress

Learn to monitor and report on procurement and labour schedules

Shadow experienced colleagues during Method / Risk / Health and Safety reviews

Support monitoring and coordinating M&E design information flow

Assist in preparing technical specifications, design reports, and innovative solutions

Manage input to Building Information Modelling software for design work
