The Role:
The Employer Engagement Coordinator will play a key role in understanding the construction market to create, build, and maintain strong relationships with employers while executing a smooth and effective recruitment process.
Ensure a constant flow of opportunities for apprentices.
Process bids for courses, organise courses, and liaise with employers.
Maintain a high level of organisation and excellent time management skills to meet monthly targets and deliver exceptional service to employers.
Generate sales leads, conduct business market research, and drive business development initiatives.
Use KPIs to work towards and exceed company-set targets.
Calls will be outbound throughout the day, generating new business.
Working to ensure that 10 vacancies and 10 Up-skills leads have been opened per week. These targets are subject to increase at peak times.
Interact daily with current and prospective employers, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Provide a detailed understanding of current employer apprenticeship funding and application processes through HMRC and CITB (training provided as needed).
Collaborate with the curriculum team to ensure departmental needs are met and trade cohorts are efficiently proportioned.
Participate in training as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
Adhere to the Health & Safety Policy, Employee Handbook, procedures, and training.
Be safety-conscious and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative.
Qualifications and Skills:
A good standard of education.
Experience in telesales or face-to-face sales, with a proven track record of working to targets.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet monthly targets.
Previous experience in the construction industry, education settings, or within a busy, varied business environment is advantageous but not essential.
