We are looking for a Tutor to deliver the Payroll apprenticeship up to Level 5 to support our client. You will help apprentices master payroll operations, compliance, pensions, reporting, and the leadership skills needed to manage payroll services.

What You'll Do

Teach and assess apprentices in payroll principles, systems, and compliance. Develop individual learning plans and deliver coaching to support progression to Level 5 and EPA readiness. Keep learners up to date with HMRC rules, pensions, and payroll systems. Embed functional skills and employability competencies where required. Liaise with employers to ensure learning reflects workplace systems and standards.

Who You Are

Experienced at management or senior practitioner level in payroll. Confident explaining technical payroll legislation and systems to learners. Patient, organised, and skilled at providing clear, practical feedback. Skilled at working with employers to align training with workplace practice.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong industry experience in payroll management or senior practitioner roles. Up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC compliance, pensions, and payroll systems. Teaching or training qualification, or willingness to achieve one. Experience supporting learners at Level 5 is desirable.
