Teesside Mind are proud to have been providing the Appropriate Adult service for over 10 years now. The service is commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners (OPCC) and delivered by a team of dedicated and skilled volunteers. Our main focus is on ensuring a high-quality experience for whoever we meet and support. We have a good working partnership with police custody staff and the PCC, and this is integral to the delivery of the service.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join Teesside Mind as an Appropriate Adult Project Support Officer. The role is part of the Appropriate Adult service, commissioned by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), and delivered by a team of dedicated and skilled volunteers. You will play a key role in supporting the projects delivery, ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive appropriate support during police procedures, and helping the team maintain the highest standards of service and care. This is a chance to make a real difference in your community while working within a committed and professional team.
