We Are Recruiting for an Approved Electrician

Typical OTE of up to 65,000 made up of basic hours, overtime, and travel time Job type: Full time and Permanent This role includes frequent travel and stays away from home

This opportunity has arisen from our ongoing success and growth in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for an Approved Electrician.


As part of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for undertaking site electrical installations in line with Powersystems' strategy.

Due to the nature of our work, candidates will be required to travel and stay away from home.

Duties and responsibilities of the role include:



Undertake site electrical installations including lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cable installation and switchgear installation Carrying out Inspections and testing to both new and existing installations Being able to take the role as lead electrician on projects, reporting to the Site Manager and Project Manager Aiding the high voltage teams on larger site installations Mentoring and coaching less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledge and skills Carrying out work in a safe manner, always adhering to health and safety procedures Taking personal ownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to you Contributing to the future success of Powersystems and its clients Uphold a professional image, contribute to Powersystems' success, and proactively improve services and efficiency. Heres what you need to be successful in the role:



Must hold a JIB approved ECS card Time served approved electrician having served recognised apprenticeship to 18th Edition Inspection testing (2391 or equivalent) Experience of working within the electrical power sector desirable Experience of working on construction sites Experience working on commercial and industrial installations Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team Strong organisational, time management, IT (MS Office), and report writing skills, with excellent spoken and written English. Ability to clearly communicate technical and commercial information, negotiate effectively, and contribute to a dynamic team. Adaptable, resilient, proactive, willing to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays, and holds a full UK driving licence.
