To support us in our ambition to deliver an excellent; right first time customer experience on every occasion, we are currently seeking Approved Electricians to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be electrical qualified, ideally holding their 18th Edition and 2391 Inspecting and Testing qualification.

Previous experience in Solar is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role:

Working throughout the UK installing Solar technology for commercial customers, as well as routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on existing Solar arrays.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Install Commercial/Industrial units including ground mounts. Ensure that work complies with electrical and building codes. Connect solar panels and inverters, and other equipment to the building's power supply. AC electrical upgrades. Repair or replace PV-related wiring, equipment and fixtures. Assemble, install, test and maintain PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures. Test PV electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure compatibility and safety. Plan layout and installation of PV-related electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.

Skill Requirements/Qualifications:

Electrical: 3 years (Essential) NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (B&S) (Essential) Experienced in Solar PV installation (Desirable) Valid ECS Card (Essential) BS7671: 2018 electrical installation (18th edition) (Desirable but not essential) Inspection and testing (Desirable but not essential) City and Guilds 2372 PV Training or similar Full Clean UK Driving Licence Highly motivated Strong work ethic Works well as part of a team and on their own
This role requires the candidate to work at sites across the whole of the UK (Accommodation and working away allowance provided, if required)

Company vehicle to be issued on completion of training/probationary period.
