Role Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Aqua Aerobics Instructor to run their own engaging group fitness classes in our heated pool on Monday and Friday evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your own following in a supportive and well-equipped environment. You are expected to bring with you your own client base, however we can assist with advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and lead aqua aerobics classes suitable for a range of fitness levels
- Create a fun, energetic atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed and conduct basic poolside checks before each session
- Engage with participants and build strong class attendance
- Communicate with facility staff and clients in a professional manner
- Certification in aqua aerobics, water fitness instruction, or group exercise (e.g., Level 2/3 Exercise to Music, Aqua Instructor, or equivalent)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Public liability insurance (self-employed status)
- Ability to motivate and energise groups in a safe, positive way
- Previous experience leading group fitness classes is preferred but not essential
- A clean, heated pool with excellent facilities
- Regular time slots in the evening (ideal for working professionals)
- Support with promoting and growing your classes
