In Homeleigh Truro, we are making a large amount of changes throughout the site. We will now be running our own Aquatics centre within the store offering customers all marine, tropical and cold water requirements. This will work along side our already existing pond selection also.

Summary

We are seeking an Aquatics Manager to join our team at Homeleigh Garden Centre. In this role, you will oversee our aquatics department, ensuring the health and well-being of aquatic life while providing exceptional customer service. Your leadership will be vital in enhancing our customers' experience and expanding our aquatic offerings.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the aquatics department, including fish care and maintenance. Ensure all aquatic life is healthy and properly cared for according to pet licensing standards. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their aquatics needs and inquiries. Train and supervise staff within the aquatics department to ensure high performance. Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed for the aquatics section.

Requirements

Previous experience in a management role within retail or aquatics is preferred. Strong knowledge of aquatic life care and maintenance practices. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment. Organizational skills to manage inventory and departmental operations efficiently.
