We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic

Aquatics Sales Store Assistant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for aquatics, excellent customer service skills, integrity, a strong work ethic and a desire to help customers. A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to drive business is a MUST. Previous retail experience within the aquatic industry is advantageous but non essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with product selection and provide expert advice on aquatics including livestock and equiptment. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store and display tanks and systems. Monitor the health and well-being of aquatic life in the store. Regular testing of fish systems. Process sales transactions and handle customer enquiries. Stock and replenish shelves. Educate customers on best practices for maintaining aquariums. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the customer experience. Publish commercial content onto our social media pages.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in aquatics. Strong knowledge of livestock Care requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. A positive attitude and a passion for aquatic life.
