We are seeking a Aquifer Development and Testing Supervisor within our Groundwater Engineering Division.

Main Duties:



Assisting in the pre-planning and execution of current and future projects. Responsible for purchasing consumables and items of equipment, spares and other miscellaneous materials or services locally or from approved suppliers in accordance with Company policies and direction, co-ordinating such purchases with the Purchasing Department and necessary colleagues. Responsible for the housekeeping of the site and welfare facilities and the overall appearance of the site and equipment Responsible for the co-ordination of routine maintenance, repairs and lubrication, condition monitoring and for special maintenance and repairs in association with the senior management and the relevant maintenance crew. Updates the senior management team as required with site updates verbally and in the approved report form.

Health, Safety & Environmental:



Responsible for implementation of the COSHH regulations and any assessments ensuring that the crew are aware of the information available and the potential hazards together with the availability of any special protective clothing that can be issued for their added protection. In the event of an accident or incident, makes the necessary arrangements for medical treatment and/or hospitalisation with senior management including H&S and HR, investigation support and participation of the cause of any accident and completes or arranges for both the internal Company accident or incident reports including recommendations for any changes in procedures or additional measures to assure safety and any reports required by the customer representative. Responsible for the environmental protection of the site and surroundings arranging any clean up after spills, preparing related reports and notification of any pollution to all relevant parties. Ensures all service company representatives working on the site understand their obligations with regard to safety and ascertain any special safety requirements including the issuing of COSHH assessments for hazardous materials Ensures compliance with any permits or consents that are stipulated by the client or governing body such as the EA.

Pay: 49,000.00-54,000.00 per year
