The Role


We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Arabic teachers to join our Foreign Languages team. This role focuses on teaching face-to-face adult group classes on Sunday mornings, with the potential for additional evening courses.


As part of IH London, you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive, international community of teachers, with access to resources, professional development, and a lively student community.



Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Arabic lessons to adult learners. Design creative and effective learning materials. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Create an inclusive and motivating classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards. Complete attendance records and progress reports as needed.


Essential Skills & Requirements

Right to work in the UK (must be UK-based). Proficiency in Arabic (native or near-native level). Fluent English. Initial teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, TAFL certificate). Minimum 2 years' experience teaching adults in a formal setting.


Desirable Skills & Qualifications

CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or DELTA qualification. Degree in Arabic Language & Literature, or in Modern Languages. Experience teaching both group and individual lessons. Flexibility to teach additional evening courses.
