Tree Estimator / Surveyor

GraftinGardeners Ltd has been providing professional tree surgery services across London and Surrey since 2009. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and approachable Tree Estimator / Surveyor to join our busy team.

This is a varied role combining site visits to customers' properties with office-based estimating and customer support. You'll assess trees, prepare clear and competitive quotations, and help clients choose the right solutions for their needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Regular travel across London and Surrey for client appointments to carry out visual tree inspections Preparing written quotations for tree works based on site visits and photographs provided by clients Advising customers on suitable works Answering queries by phone and email, and providing follow-up support Assisting with tender submissions and supporting the wider office team

What we're looking for

A background in tree surgery (estimating or supervisory experience welcomed) Arboricultural qualification or LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certificate Good practical knowledge of tree species, health, pests, and diseases Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach Confidence in preparing quotes and handling client queries Full UK driving licence essential

Pay: 120.00-200.00 per day

tree estimating: 2 years (required) tree inspections and species identification: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:

UK Driving Licence (required) LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certificate (preferred)
