Job Description

We are currently looking for a full time arcade attendant to work in our Amusement Arcade with Adult Gaming Centre.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, outgoing individuals who are able to work well as part of a small team but also able to show initiative when required.

Candidates must be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, school and public holidays. In return we offer competitive rates of pay and excellent career prospects for the right candidates.

Candidates must be over 18 as they are required to work within or Adult only arcade - Joywheel Arcade too.

Arcade Attendant supervises the use of games machines. They also look out for the safety of customers and stop any inappropriate behaviour. The work involves handling money but also as Arcade is a part of bowling centre , element of food service and reception tasks are too included.

Main responsibilities :

Provide a high level of Customer Service at all times, welcome and acknowledge customers when they entering and leaving the establishment

Be able to provide help and information to customers when needed

Serving customers and making drinks/serving food

Check Customer's identification when entering age restricted areas

Monitor the intake of alcohol by Customers and prohibit the sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated

Assess Customer's needs and preferences and make recommendations

Providing help and information to customers when needed

Restock and replenish all stock and supplies

Be responsible for cleanliness in your work area at all times

Adhere to all Company policies and procedures

Assists Customers and carries out first line fault corrections on machines, replenish tickets and prizes in machines as required

Explains operation of game machines to Customers

Cash handling

Day-to-day running of redemption shop, exchanging redemption tickets for prizes

Ensure site is secure by constantly monitoring machines & Customers

Sort and bag currency and coins

Be responsible for cleanliness in your work area at all times

Treat members of the public with courtesy, respect and politeness at all times

Using bowling computer system, setting up the lanes and providing Customers with shoes

Answering telephone calls, answering general enquiries , booking lanes, transferring calls and taking messages

Ensure equipment is kept in good working order, cleaned and well maintained

Responsible for stock rotational procedures
