We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and managing project workflows from inception to completion. Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive architectural designs and visualisations using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SketchUp.
Prepare detailed construction documents, including technical drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and negotiate design solutions that meet their needs and budget.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Utilise project management skills to oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with design intent and safety standards.
Incorporate sustainable practices and innovative materials into design proposals.
Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and technological advancements relevant to architecture and construction.
Skills
Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, NavisWorks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and joinery techniques.
Excellent negotiation skills for client interactions and contractor negotiations.
Experience in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders efficiently.
Skilled in CAD drafting and technical detailing for various building types.
Ability to conceptualise ideas visually through sketches and digital renderings.
Familiarity with 3ds Max or similar rendering tools is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all phases of design development.
