Overview

We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various architectural projects, ensuring that they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to deliver exceptional designs while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

Develop and present architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction projects. Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective project management throughout the design and construction phases. Engage in negotiations with clients and contractors to achieve optimal project outcomes. Utilise advanced modelling tools including NavisWorks, Grasshopper 3D, and Rhinoceros 3D for complex design tasks. Incorporate joinery details into designs to enhance functionality and aesthetics. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform innovative design solutions. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of architectural designs.

Requirements

A degree in Architecture or a related field is essential. Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, 3ds Max, and SketchUp. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and materials. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders. A portfolio showcasing previous architectural work is highly desirable. Familiarity with sustainable design practices is an advantage. Strong attention to detail coupled with creative problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
