Job Description

Our client, a well-established Architectural Practice based in Leeds are seeking an Architect to join its growing team. The Successful Architect will be predominantly working within the residential sector and therefore experience of working within this sector is highly advantageous. The ideal Architect will also ideally have a good knowledge of Revit.

This role would suit an individual with both an excellent work ethic and a degree in Architecture who has completed their Part 3 examination and has a few years\' experience post Part III experience looking for a new challenge working on exciting residential projects. The practice is using Revit across the board on all projects; therefore, the most suitable Project Architect will have experience in Revit.

The successful Architect will be working closely with the Associate Director and be exposed to a variety of different private developer clients working on feasibility studies, masterplans and detailed planning applications. The Project Architect will also be working from concept through to detail design on the projects and will be fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Associate Director to really progress their career as an Architect.

Architect Position Overview

• Work on a range of small to large-scale projects within Residential
• Liaise with other professionals
• Develop project briefs
• Work from inception to completion
• Produce high quality design for a range of exciting projects in a variety of sectors
• Meet with professionals / clients to agree a project brief
• Maintain and form good relationships with colleagues and clients
• Use Revit and AutoCAD on a daily basis

Architect Position Requirements

• Living in or around Leeds
• Proficiency of ideally Revit however AutoCAD could be considered (preferable)
• Experience within the Residential sector
• ARB/RIBA Qualified Architect
• Minimum 3 years UK based practical experience
• Strong design, presentational and report writing skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Good knowledge of building regulations
