We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision and the technical skills necessary to bring architectural concepts to life. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various projects, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Duties
Develop and present architectural designs that align with client specifications and project goals.
Utilise software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, and Rhinoceros 3D to create detailed drawings and models.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Collaborate with project managers to coordinate timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure materials and services necessary for project completion.
Prepare technical documentation including specifications, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
Implement sustainable design practices in accordance with current regulations and standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality in all deliverables.
Requirements
2 - 3 years experience
A degree in Architecture or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in CAD software is required; experience with NavisWorks and Grasshopper is advantageous.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
A keen eye for detail combined with strong problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience in architectural design or a related role is preferred but not mandatory.
A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates creativity and technical proficiency.
