Salary: 45,000+ (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Architect to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead a small team within our practice, with a clear pathway to progression at Associate level.
The Role
You will work within our retail team under the guidance of an Associate Director, taking ownership of projects and helping drive the team's development. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent technical and leadership skills, with responsibility for delivering projects at all stages.
Key Requirements

• Qualifications:

• Architect or experienced Architectural Technologist.
• Technical & Delivery Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of UK project delivery processes, including Building Regulations, CDM, Principal Designer duties (Building Safety Act), and planning requirements.
• Proven ability to work across all RIBA stages with confidence.
• Extensive experience in preparing and coordinating tender and planning packages.
• Proficient in reviewing and checking technical submissions.
• Strong Revit and BIM skills essential.
• Leadership & Management:

• Experience as lead designer managing multidisciplinary design teams and full consultant teams.
• Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for decisions on fast-paced, rollout projects.
• Skilled in reporting team progress to senior leadership.
• Track record of working with client design standards is advantageous.
• Client Engagement:

• Confident in a client-facing role with the ability to build and nurture strong relationships.
• Willingness to attend site visits across the UK as required.
