• Full Time (40 hours pw, Monday to Friday)
• Based in London EC1 with a hybrid studio / home working pattern

Position Summary:

Arcadis IBI Group\xe2\x80\x99s expertise is delivered by a team of professionals, each dedicated to specialist areas such as urban design, architecture, intelligent transport, landscaping, interior design, software development and many more areas of client focused services. We are seeking a technical team member to join our Education team - work will be across a range of education areas including schools, colleges, universities and science / research establishments spanning the public and private sector across all of the RIBA work stages.

This challenge will give you the opportunity to focus on a range of projects for a growing, diverse client base. In this position, you will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work on all aspects of projects: design development, working drawings, contract administration, client relationships, team communication and on-site services
• Resolve complex technical and design issues
• Conduct on-site inspections and document site reviews
• Understand and adhere to procedures including quality management and environmental management systems and health & safety
• Promote the use and continuous development of appropriate systems, procedures and protocols

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• Appropriately qualified (RIBA or MCIAT)
• Your experience must include recent sizeable UK projects and schemes in the Education sector
• Knowledge of educational design standards including Building Bulletins and DfE Output Specifications
• Experience of working on larger projects as part of a team and day to day leadership for smaller projects
• Naturally you\xe2\x80\x99ll have a strong knowledge of building regulations, design standards and best practice
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship-management skills
