Job Description

JDW Architects Ltd, a design-led architectural practice with a strong reputation for delivering thoughtful, context-sensitive architecture, is currently seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time post, with a competitive salary in the region of 35,000 per annum, subject to experience.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support project delivery across various RIBA Work Stages, contributing to design development, planning submissions, and detailed technical packages. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally within a supportive, inclusive, and design-driven practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in design development from concept to completion Prepare high-quality presentation material and technical drawings Liaise with consultants, contractors, and local authorities Demonstrate awareness of Building Regulations and relevant planning policies Uphold the practice's commitment to sustainable and inclusive design

Essential Criteria:

RIBA Part III qualified (or recently qualified Part III) Strong design portfolio with demonstrable experience in UK-based projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp Excellent written and verbal communication skills A collaborative mindset and professional approach
