We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and project management skills. You will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces while ensuring compliance with building regulations and sustainability standards. This role requires collaboration with clients, engineers, and contractors to bring architectural visions to life.
Responsibilities
Develop architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion to create accurate and visually compelling models.
Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects, ensuring clarity and compliance with design requirements.
Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, negotiate project requirements, and deliver tailored solutions.
Conduct site visits to evaluate progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Utilise advanced modelling and visualisation tools like SketchUp and Lumion for creating realistic renderings and walkthroughs.
Oversee the selection of materials and details to ensure design integrity and functional excellence.
Prepare engaging presentations for clients to showcase design concepts, updates, and project milestones.
Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques to align with modern architectural practices.
Requirements
A degree in Architecture or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of joinery techniques.
Previous experience in an architectural role is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
