Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural principles and be proficient in various design software. This role requires both creative and technical expertise, as well as strong coordination and communication skills to support the full project lifecycle from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed architectural drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Sketchup. Prepare technical documentation and specifications for construction projects. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information for design purposes. Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards throughout the design process.

Requirements

Relevant Architecture or Architectural Technology qualification Experience in residential, commercial, and refurbishment projects Full UK driving license Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning requirements Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant design software Excellent detailing, technical drawing, and specification skills Good communication and coordination abilities Ability to manage time and workload across multiple projects

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and other architectural design software. In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning laws, and health and safety standards. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.

Key Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong organisational and project management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and project teams.

Pay: 27,000.00-33,000.00 per year
