The Architecture Studio is a small practice based in the centre of Ludlow, one of the most beautiful towns in the country, with more than its fair share of listed buildings. It is our responsibility as architects to ensure sympathetic refurbishment, extension and alteration of these buildings to preserve them for future generations.

We mainly work on high quality town and country residential projects for a broad based portfolio of private clients and with a steady flow of exciting new commissions.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Architectural graduate (qualified to RIBA part I or part II) with an interest in environmentally sustainable building.

Assisting the Project Architects, this an opportunity to develop your design and detailing skills, preparing 2D AutoCAD drawings and 3D SketchUp visualisations, and to be a key member of our small team.

You will be proficient in both AutoCAD and SketchUp, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. You will be well organised, able to work to deadlines, and confident in liaising directly with clients.

The placement runs from 1st September 2025 to 30th June 2026 and we are flexible with regard to study time during this period, according to university requirements. There may also be an opportunity to join us during the summer vacation for the right candidate.

Hours are generally 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, with an hour lunch break (37.5 hours/week) and some flexibility by arrangement.
